George Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel

Hegel is the principal narrator of the book and gives an extensive account of philosophical history. For instance, Hegel defines the three accounts of history. Firstly, there is original history which is similar to bystander authentication because it is real-time and recorded to give all the required facts. The second account is reflective history which is written after the events. Lastly, Hegel describes philosophical history which is based on historians' opinions and feelings.

God

God is depicted as the Supreme King, creator of heaven and earth. The kingdom of heaven belongs to God, and he creates all people, animals, insects, and plants, amongst other things on earth. All the accounts of history described in the book recognize God as the creator of all things that exist. Similarly, God intervenes to guide human actions to ensure that man remains upright and honest.

Brahm

Brahm is the supernatural power of the Persian Empire, and he is equated to the spiritual God of the Christians. According to Persian in ancient times, Brahm created heaven and earth. Sacrifices were made to Brahm to request him to provide protection and tranquility among his people.

Christ

Christ is the holy son of God. Before the coming of Christ, 3000 years ago, the Chinese relied on the Shu-King, which is their canonical document and the government. However, the biblical account of creation introduced a different narrative that did not rhyme with Shu-king’s canonical document.

Johannes von Muller

Muller disagrees with the biblical year when the flood happened during the time of Noah. According to Muller, the Noachian Flood took place in the year 1373 before the coming of Christ. Therefore, the accounts given regarding the history of Noah after the coming of Christ are subject to criticism.

The emperor

The emperor is the head of the Persian kingdom, and he controls all government affairs and dictates what people should do, including how to worship. The emperor also presides over all important functions and ceremonies in the kingdom. The subjects are expected to adhere to the kingdom's rules and respect the authority of the emperor.

Buddha

Buddha is the founder of the new religion. Buddha also instructs men to build houses for their families. Similarly, Buddha encouraged his people to engage in trade to improve their economy and living standards. According to Buddha, the kingdom cannot afford to have people who are not self-reliant and this is a call to encourage people to observe discipline and the significance of hard work.

Qin Shi Huang

Quin Shi Huang builds the famous wall of china, which provides security against the inroads of the northern nomads. He also founded the Qin dynasty and he became the first emperor to unify China. Besides building the Wall of China, he also formed the strongest army to protect him for eternity.
