In fact, most members of the society in which they live can only afford economy class seats on the same plane. It is the expectation of the reader that this kind of wealth should accord bell hooks and her friend some respect from the white people. However, it is ironic that they still face racial and sexual discrimination because they are forcefully moved out of their first-class seats in the plane. The immoral act by the plane’s crew is a total demonstration that wealth does not accord respect to bell hooks and her friend K because the Whites still refer blacks as inferior members of the society.

    According to bell hooks, the best way to defeat white supremacy by the minority groups is unity. The neo-colonial ascendancy cannot be defeated if the marginalized groups accept racism and sexual discrimination from the whites as a normal way of life. She advocates for equal treatment from the white American majority arguing that the minority is part of the American community. The act of treating Blacks with contempt and suspicion is unacceptable. More importantly, she advises the minority groups to remain united and never get tired of fighting for their equality rights regardless of the dominance of white supremacy.

    Throughout the Killing Rage book, bell hooks and colleagues, especially of the female gender, are doing everything probable to defeat chauvinism and bias directed towards them. One of the tactics they use to fight sexism and disparity is collective relations faction.
