Throughout the study of Kate Chopin's short stories, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments.

On Day 1, the activity "Portrayal of Dialect" includes internet research and use of presentation software, such as PowerPoint or Prezi. The activity "Illustration and Architectural Drawings" would benefit from access to architectural design software or illustration software, such as Adobe Illustrator.
