    Objective:

    Students will be able to create a story in the style of "Miss McEnders."

    Structure:

    Discuss the concept of "satire" with the students. Is it a term they know? Can they think of contemporary examples of satire? (Some may include episodes of The Simpsons or videos from Funny or Die or other humor sites—feel free to show YouTube clips to facilitate the discussion.)
