    Who is A Boy Named Crow? What do you currently make of his appearances in the novel and his relationship to Kafka?

    As Murakami said of this work, the novel is full of riddles that must be interpreted and combined to produce "meaning." There are not going to be clear cut answers to some of these questions. For example, one student may claim that A Boy Named Crow is the "mechanism" buried deep inside Kafka, the voice given to his DNA that reveals the the inner workings of Kafka's biology and ancestry. Another student may decide that this is simply a manifestation of Kafka's own internal dialogue. Another may say that either of these interpretations could be true, but...
