    How is Felix’s class in Part 3 different from how it is in Part 2?

    In Part 2, Felix does the work of introducing The Tempest to his students. He is teaching in a much more traditional way in this section. When the students protest, he does the bulk of the analysis to help them understand Caliban’s role in the story and different ways to imagine Ariel. Felix is clearly “in charge” and leading the class. In Part 3, Felix’s students begin to do something that teachers dream about. They take up The Tempest in their own ways.
