Leek as a symbol of fortune

The author figuratively uses Leek as a symbol of fortune. Leek is the lucky rabbit that walks alongside Cecil wherever he goes. Sleek works very hard to prevent bad luck that might happen to Cecil at any time. Leek always brings luck to Cecil whenever an opportunity arises. The biggest enemy of Leek is Millikin, the black evil cat that is always doing its best to put Cecil down. At last, Millikin comes up with a plan to kidnap Sleek and trap him in the magician's hat, and from that day on, nothing good happens to Cecil.

The evil black cat

The evil cat, as the name suggests, emblems bad luck. The evil black cat is named Millikin, who intends to bring down Sleek and bring hard luck to Cecil. According to the author, everyone on earth has an enemy who wishes him misfortune. The author says, "You see, every person in the entire world is stalked by their very own personal black cat. The primary role of Millikin is to ensure that Cecil s not happy. However, Millikin often crosses Cecil's path causing him to experience minor misfortunes accompanied by good luck. To succeed in his ambitions to cause mischief to Cecil, Millikin strategizes to eliminate Sleek, and he succeeds.

The magical hat

The magical hat is a symbol of healing. When Cecil loses touch with Sleek, he crosses paths with Millikin and starts feeling severe pain in his bottom. Millikin tells Cecil that the only way he can get healed is by attending a magic show performed by a great magician called Imbrolio. When Cecil attends the magical show, Imbrolio calls him to step forward and gives him a magic hat to smell. After smelling the hat, Cecil is healed.
