Shanta
The film’s story revolves around Shanta, who works in a rich Parsee family as a nanny. She’s a young and beautiful Hindu girl from south India. She adores and care for Lenny and always takes her to a nearby park where Shanta usually hangs out with her guy friends from different faiths. As the story develops, she comes to like one of her male friend Hassan.
Dil Nawaz
Dil Nawaz is the main character of the movie. Dil has a light-hearted and funny character in the starting of the film, as the movie turns political, Dil Nawaz's character transforms into a violent person. He loves Shanta and he wants Shanta to be his at any cost, and this feeling of want and desire leads him to take revenge from Shanta and Hassan.
Hassan
Hassan is a love interest of Shanta. He has a calm personality and truly loves Shanta. Despite being a Muslim, he bears no hatred for Sikhs and Hindus but at the end of the story, Hassan gets killed by anonymous.
Lenny
Lenny is an 8-year-old young girl who contracted polio in infancy. She is an enthusiastic and curious child. Lenny spends most of her time with her nanny Shanta and watches and observes her group’s political talks. She likes to spend her time with the Ice candy man (Dil Nawaz) and Masseus (Hassan).
