In today's reading, we meet a knight who has been made to wear a sandwich-board advertising soap. This serves two purposes: first, it encourages the population to bathe more regularly and thoroughly; second, it makes knights look a bit ridiculous, which is the first step in Hank's plans to bring down the gentry.
