Binti
A sixteen year old mathematical prodigy, Binti belongs to the Himba tribe. She gets accepted to a reputable Oomza University on a full scholarship. Binti, being a Himba, is not allowed to leave her home, but Binti eventually leaves home for pursuing her studies. Binti tries to adjust herself in her new house and witnesses an alien attack.
Okwu
Okwu is a Meduse who becomes Binti's friend. They both were initially enemies, but gradually they learned to trust each other.
Binti's Father
Binti's father is a mathematician who makes astrolabes. He owns a store and wants Binti to manage it after him. He dislikes Khoush and doesn't want Binti to go to their University for studies.
The Chief
The Cheif resents Khoush and wants to abolish them because the researchers from Oomza University steal the stinger of the Chief to make weapons.
Okpala
She is a mathematician and teaches at Oomza University. Okpala is a curious and intellectual woman who knows about the Himba culture and helps Binti feel at home.
Haras
Haras is a professor at Oomza University. He acts as the representative of Oomza University and talks to the chief of Meduse, and returns stinger to the chief.
Heru
Binti likes him and, eventually, they become friends. Unfortunately, she witnesses Heru's murder by a Meduse.
