Students will identify and discuss the role of the narrator, and what Orwell may have intended to say through this voice.
Students will identify the primary themes, motifs, and symbols used in Animal Farm.
Students will be able to understand such literary devices and genres as allegory, irony, fable, metaphor, and satire.
Students will be able to identify and understand the allusions to various political ideologies, both historically and in the present day.
