Ain't I a Woman? (Speech) Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of "Ain't I a Woman," students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, and any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

In the Day 1 activity “Sojourner Truth’s Rhetorical Situation,” students will use Canva to create an infographic.

In the Day 1 activity, “Historical Context of Sojourner’s Speech,” students will use Prezi, the Read Write Think timeline, or Glogster to create a presentation, timeline, or a multimedia poster.
