    Why do you think Brown chooses to include the case studies from the Israel-Palestine border and the US-Mexico border?

    At the beginning of the second half of Chapter 1, Brown explicitly states that these two walls are β€œthe two largest, most expensive, and most notorious of the new walls.” Students should recognize that their expensiveness and notoriety have something to do with Brown's choice to dive deeper into these border walls specifically.
