V For Vendetta

v for vendetta

The term “patriarchy” describes a society or government designed to maintain the power of men at the expense of women, often through both overt abuse and coded misogyny. What comment does V’s “performance” of Evey’s imprisonment and torture make about pat

There is a sense of patriarchy over V's imprisonment of Evie. V, a man, is in control of Evey and "teaching" her lessons. Although these lessons might be of value, they are still wielded by the male gender upon the female gender. V holds total control over Evei's fate.
