Is v a hero?

V is very much an anti-hero and vigilante. He is a superhero of sorts who challenges a corrupt state. V, however, is out for revenge. In this sense he is a hero out to settle a score against those have wronged him. TC is very much reminiscent to the character of Edmund Dantes in The Count of Monte Cristo.
