Stanza One

The persona begins by explaining that the sober men and the saints condemn the White Goddess due to the influence of god Apollo. Nevertheless, the person is determined to find the White Goddess. The persona considers the White Goddess to be an illusion.

Stanza Two

The person believes that he exhibited courage by going to look for the White Goddess at the Volcano. The persona is strong-willed because he braves the ice in the course of looking for the White Goddess. The person meets the seven sleepers while looking for the White Goddess. The White Goddess has a high brow, blue eyes, and White lips.

Stanza Three

The persona envisions himself finding the White Goddess. He wants to celebrate the Goddess and says that the birds will celebrate with him as well. The persona confirms he finds the White Goddess in November. The persona is impressed by the White Goddess beauty to the extent that he no longer remembers the White Goddess cruelty. The persona no longer cares about want will happen as long as he has found the White Goddess.
