Students will consider how line reading and interpretation can affect our analysis of the characters.

Structure:

As The Visit is intended to be performed rather than read, students’ interpretations of the characters and story may be affected or even changed by the choices made by those portraying them. This activity will give students a chance to portray and interpret the characters themselves.
