Reynard Muldoon
Reynard Muldoon, also known as Reynie, is a gifted boy living at the Stonetown Orphanage. At eleven years old, he possesses exceptional cognitive skills. Despite Reynie's average physique, he uses his genius mind to solve complex puzzles.
George Washington
George Washington is an eleven-year-old who lives at the orphanage after running away from home. Known as "Sticky" for having an excellent memory, he is quick to remember everything. While George might be apprehensive at times, his mind is his greatest asset.
Kate Weatherall
Kate Weatherall is a strong, beautiful girl with blue eyes and blonde hair. Unlike Reynie and Sticky, she is extremely extroverted, dexterous, and athletic. Kate is always carrying a survival kit packed with ropes, a flashlight, a spyglass, a horseshoe, and a slingshot, among other things. She had a very tough childhood after her mother died, and her father abandoned her.
Constance Contraire
Constance Contraire is a strange three-year-old that has an affinity for writing sadistic poems. She is stubborn and likes to annoy the other children at the orphanage.
Mr. Nicholas Benedict
Mr. Nicholas Benedict recruits Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance for a mission to take down his evil twin, Ledroptha Curtain. Together, they form “The Mysterious Benedict Society” and work to infiltrate Ledroptha's school.
Ledroptha Curtain
Ledroptha Curtain is the villain and Benedict's evil twin. He is the founder of the L.I.V.E. school, where he uses advanced machines to plunge the world into anarchy.
