However, Tiffany proved all her classmates wrong when she excelled in her studies and became victorious in her career.

The symbolism of success

Success is symbolized by Tiffany's hard work, determination and perseverance. Tiffany remained focused and pursued her dream with zeal despite having an irresponsible father and an uncaring stepmother. Towards the end of the book, the reader realizes that Tiffany became an excellent actress and comedian.

The divorce between Tiffany and her husband

Tiffany's divorce from her husband was symbolic because it represented a blessing in disguise. Immediately after the divorce, Tiffany's career was picked, becoming very famous. Tiffany had the freedom to exploit her potential alone, and she realized that her controlling husband curtailed her abilities.

Mom’s Insanity

Mom's insanity symbolizes the dark side of Tiffany's life experience. The reader realizes that Tiffany's mother insanity conceded with her automobile accident, reflecting her weird behavior. After the insanity of her mother, Tiffany's father remarried, and she was sent to live with her grandmother. Life became harder, and to add salt to her wound, students in school bullied her. Tiffany remained focused and steadfast to pursue her goals despite all these challenges.
