    Structure:

    Have students read the essay “The Sherlock Holmes Conundrum, or The Difference Between Deductive and Inductive Reasoning” (https://medium.com/@daniellekkincaid/the-sherlock-holmes-conundrum-or-the-difference-between-deductive-and-inductive-reasoning-ec1eb2686112#.5ysvb46c9). You can assign this for homework.

    Then, instruct the students to do a Think-Pair-Share. Each student should write down their own definition of inductive and deductive reasoning...
