The laughing dog
In "Ashamanja Babu's Dog," Ashamanja is not believed by the professor or the vet when he tells them about his laughing dog. However, when Ashamanja is out on a walk his dog's laugh is ironically heard by a stranger.
An Ironic Question
In "Ashamanja Babu's Dog," when Ashamanja is speaking to the professor, he ironically asks him "are you employed to count the number of dogs in the city?" Ashamanja uses irony here in order to warn the professor about prying into his business.
Ignoring advice
In "Indigo," Bhola Babu warned Bose about the possible difficulties of the journey, but Bose ignored his advice. Ironically, his car broke down soon into the journey and he was stranded, regretting the fact he hadn't taken the advice.
Ghost irony
When he arrived at the bungalow, Bose from "Indigo" ironically stated that he "hopes there are no ghosts here." Ironically, Bose himself turns into a ghost-like figure.
Gut feelings
In "Indigo," the storm gave Bose a bad feeling," however he carried on despite this. Afterward, he is caught up in some frightening supernatural event.
