The projectile with the lowest landing position will have the longest travel time, as well as the longest time for gravity to accelerate it. Situation (b) has the projectile landing at the same height as it started: above situation (a) and below situation (c) This means that the projectile is situation (b) is traveling faster than (c) but slower than (a).
