Chapter 11 - Rolling, Torque, and Angular Momentum - Questions - Page 319: 3a

Answer

Body will not rotate

Work Step by Step

Initially yoyo is at rest. When body statrs to rotate, Torque of force applied is equal to rate of change of angular momentum. But in this case force F2 passes through point of contact. So its torqe is zero because torque = force ×perpendicular distance.
