(b) Astronomical telescope

Astronomical telescope forms inverted image since it uses two lenses. The objective forms real inverted image of far object and eyepiece forms virtual magnified image of the inverted image. So the image is inverted. Galilean telescope uses convex lens as eyepiece and terrestrial telescope uses a third intermediate lens to form erect image.
