Momentum has changed for the ball. However, momentum was not created: the wall, too, moved: it is just such a small movement due to its large mass that we do not notice it. This makes sense considering Newton's laws, for every force results in an equal and opposite force. Thus, while the wall exerted a force on the ball, the ball also exerted a force on the wall.
