1. Eliminate all carbons with double or triple bonds.
2. Eliminate all carbons that have more than 1 hydrogen. (They have less than 3 visible bonds.)
3. With the ones that weren't removed, check if they have 4 different groups connected to each one.
If so, it is a stereocenter.
** If you have any trouble seeing if any group is equal to another one, then number the atoms on the 4 groups, (start counting by the carbon you think is the stereocenter), and if any equal numbers have different atoms, then the groups are different.
