Temperature is a measure of the average kinetic energy of the gas. Kinetic Energy is proportional to velocity squared (KE = 1/2$mv^2$). Therefore, increasing the temperature will increase the velocity. This will cause the particles to cover more ground in less time, leading to more collisions
