Answer

$18^{\circ}$ C

Work Step by Step

For converting temperature from Kelvin degrees to Celsius degrees we use following formula: $$C = K - 273.$$ For converting temperature from Celsius degrees to Fahrenheit degrees we use following formula: $$C = (F - 32)\times \frac{5}{9}.$$ We determine the temperature, in $^\circ $C, for Earth: $$\begin{aligned} C_{\text{Earth}}&=(72-32)\times \dfrac{5}{9}\approx 22. \end{aligned}$$ We determine the temperature, in $^\circ $C, for Jupiter: $$\begin{aligned} C_{\text{Jupiter}}&=313-273=40. \end{aligned}$$ The difference of temperature between the two planets is: $$40-22=18^\circ\text{ C}.$$
