Bronze is a copper and tin alloy. The discovery of bronze improved tool making because copper’s bronze alloys are stronger, and they resist wear and corrosion better than pure copper. This alloy of copper and tin has been used for thousands of years because it could be made even in the low heat of a Stone Age campfire.
