Trigonometry 7th Edition

Showed that given statement, $\frac{\sec\theta}{\tan\theta}$ = $\csc\theta$, is an identity as left side transforms into right side.
Given statement is- $\frac{\sec\theta}{\tan\theta}$ = $\csc\theta$ Left Side = $\frac{\sec\theta}{\tan\theta}$ = $\frac{1/\cos\theta}{\sin\theta/\cos\theta}$ (Using reciprocal identity) = $\frac{1}{\cos\theta} \times \frac{\cos\theta}{\sin\theta}$ = $\frac{1}{\sin\theta}$ = $\csc\theta$ = Right Side i.e. Left Side transforms into Right Side i.e. Given statement, $\frac{\sec\theta}{\tan\theta}$ = $\csc\theta$, is an identity.
