The mean can be counted by summing all the data and dividing it by the number of data: $\frac{96+89+87+...+124}{20}=101$. The median is the average of the 1 or 2 (here 2) middle data:(96+97)/2=96.5. The mean of the sample is really close to 100, therefore the sample is consistent with the population.
