Chapter 6 - Section 6.2 - More Angle Measures in the Circle - Exercises - Page 298: 25

Answer

When a pair of two tangent lines intersect an arc, the measure where these lines intersect is equal to half of the measure of the arc that is intersected. Thus, the measure of angle C is equal to $.5AB$. Since it forms a complete circle, it follows that: $ CB = 1/2(360- x - x) $ Thus, we obtain: $C = 180 - x$.
