Chapter 1 - Section 1.1 - Review of Basic Operations - Exercise: 75

Work Step by Step

First, find the number of individual items found in each different type of box. This is done by multiplying the total number of boxes with the amount of items in each box. Number of potatoes in boxes of bakers= $2\times90=180$ Number of prime ribs in boxes of beef roast 109s= $3\times4=12$ Number of pork in boxes of pork loin = $2\times4=8$ Total number of individual items can then be found by adding the number of all the different items up: 180+12+8=200
