To isolate $x$ on the left side of the equation, divide both sides by 0.15. $\frac{0.15x}{0.15}=\frac{11,000}{0.15}$ Because we are dividing the coefficient of x on the left side by itself, it cancels out. $x=\frac{11,000}{0.15}$ To finish solving for $x$, divide 11,000 by 0.15. $x=\frac{11,000}{0.15}=73,333.33333$ We are asked to round the answer to the nearest whole number, which is 73,333. Check your answer by substituting your answer in for $x$ in the original equation. $0.15\times73,333.33333=11,000$
