# Chapter 8 - Coordinate Geometry and Linear Systems - 8.2 - Graphing Linear Equations - Problem Set 8.2: 43

#### Answer

The graph is attached, and the answer is below.

#### Work Step by Step

A) In order to find the missing blanks in the table, plug the value above each blank into the function, and then write in the missing value in the location right below the value of C it corresponds to. Doing this, the values in the table, from left to right, are: 32, 41, 50, 59, 68, 23, 14, 5, -4, -13. B) The graph is attached. C) In order to approximate the values, create a vertical line at the given value of the temperature in degrees Celcius (C). Then, estimate the value of F when the vertical line intersects the line graphed in B). D) To find the values, plug them into the given equation for C, and find F. This gives: $F(25) = 77 \\ F(30) = 86 \\ F( -30) = -22 \\ F(-40) = -40$
