If there exists an $n$ by $n$ matrix $A^{-1}$ (read as "$A$ inverse" ) for which $AA^{-1}=A^{-1}A=I_{n}$ then $A^{-1}$ is called the inverse of the matrix $A$. --- A being nonsingular means that it has an inverse. Here, $\mathrm{B}=A^{-1},$ the inverse of A.
