All that needs to be done in this problem is to find the reciprocal of the divisor. So just flip the second fraction, so the 3 becomes the numerator, and 1 becomes the denominator. Now just multiply the 1/2 and 3/1. (It becomes multiplication because you are using the reciprocal). You should end up with 3/2, which can be rewritten as 1 1/2.
