The slope of the line is calculated by looking at the graph. Slope = $\frac{rise}{run}$ so since the line goes up 5 units(rise) and to the right one unit(run) the slope is 5. m=5 The y-intercept is where the line crosses the y axis and in this the y-intercept is (0,10). Thus b=10. An equation for a line is y=mx+b Given that m=5 and b=10 we substitute that into the original equation. y=5x+10
