Chapter 3 - Solving Inequalities - Chapter Review - 3-8 Unions and Intersections of Sets - Page 226: 59

Answer

See Venn diagram attached:

Work Step by Step

You have to find the similarities and differences between each set and place them appropriately in the Venn diagram. The numbers 1 and 5 are in each set, so they are grouped together where all 3 circles intersect (in the middle). Sets R and Q share a 3, so that number is placed where circles R and Q intersect. Set P has numbers 7, 9, and 13 solely to itself, so they are placed only in circle P. Set R has numbers 2, 4, 6, and 8 solely to itself, so they are placed only in circle R.
