Chapter 6 - Systems of Equations and Inequalities - Chapter Review - Page 409: 11

Answer

The graphs of the equation will not intersect and will be parallel.

Work Step by Step

We know that the solution of a systems of equations is the point at which the graphs of the equations intersect each other. Now when we have a system that has no solutions, we know that the graphs of those equations in the system do not intersect each other. If it is a system of linear equations, than the only way the lines do not intersect each other is if they are parallel.
