The Equation is y=8+2x because the output before any input was 8 and when the independent variable, the input increased by 1, the the dependent variable i.e. the output increased by 2 and so the slope is 2. b. The ordered pair set doesn't represent a linear function because it doesn't pass the vertical line test as for every x value there is more than one y value.
