Work Step by Step
CSMA/CD initially senses any transmissions from another stations/nodes in the channel and starts transmitting when the channel is free .when a station/Node detects a collision, it stops transmission and sends a jamming signal to completely destroy the collided signal . It then waits for some time before transmitting again.
