Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Sister Outsider, students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Many of the lessons featured will require students to have access to a computer and internet for in-class and/or at home research.

In the Day 1 activity "Political Economy: Capitalism vs. Socialism" students will watch a short video clip and need computer and internet access to conduct research on the differences between socialism and capitalism.
