Introduction to the Gothic

Objective:
Students will learn and comprehend the standard elements of the gothic tradition.

Structure:
This activity is designed to be an introduction to Gothic literature. Students will take in information, do some research, and then show what they have learned. To start the activity, have students watch a video summarizing the Gothic tradition. You might show this LitCrit YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUNuFLHvVng.
Then, instruct students to work in pairs to use available technology to research the Gothic tradition....
