Have students watch the film Black Panther, as a contemporary/fantastical iteration of black isolationism, as shown in Ruby.

Acquire a copy of Black Panther (2018) by director Ryan Coogler. Have students watch the film. After watching the film, start students off on a discussion using the following questions as a starting point:
