Sindbad
Sindbad is a merchant who acquires so much wealth from an adventurous voyage. He tells his adventurous stories to a poor porter, who is the namesake of Sindbad. He admits that he's not a brave man who killed the monsters for the noble cause but to save his life. He is fortunate to be able to live to tell his stories to others.
King Shahryar
King Shahryar catches his wife cheating on him with a servant, after killing his wife, he orders his Vizier to bring a virgin bride for him each night and kill them in the morning. He continues his killing spree until he marries Scheherazade, the Vizier's daughter.
Scheherazade
Scheherazade, daughter of the Vizier of King Shahryar. She is a witty and educated lady, who has knowledge of Arts and Philosophy and, remembers thousands of tales and anecdotes. Scheherazade decides to marry the king Shahryar, to save her life, she tells him stories and leaves them incomplete intentionally.
