The film was originally scheduled to be released on October 13, 2017,[17] but was moved up to September 15.[18] It had its world premiere at the 74th Venice International Film Festival, where it was selected to compete for the Golden Lion;[19] premiered in London on September 6, 2017;[20] and was screened at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival.[21][22]
