    In Section 1, we learn that there is some tension between Wes and his brother Frank. How does Watson build upon this information in Section 2? What techniques does he use to evoke the nature of the relationship between brothers?

    The simple exchange Frank and Wes have about “Ole Norgaard’s brew” is extremely telling of their relationship. Wes offers his brother a drink, but Frank turns up his nose at the home-brewed beer as though he is too good for it. He is casually sarcastic and dismissive with his brother, which suggests he feels superior.
