    Sarah Williams is frustrated because Toby keeps on crying. Despite holding his adored doll, Toby is constantly crying. Sarah gets irritated and says she wishes the goblins would come and take him away. Without hesitation, Sarah’s wishes are fulfilled and a king of goblins, Jareth, comes and takes Toby away. Sarah is shocked and decides to embark on a journey to rescue Toby. Sarah is regretting her wishes because she was not expecting them to become reality. The emotional journey she takes teaches her to let go of immature wishes and embrace selflessness.

    Sarah Williams seems to be childish when she teasingly wishes her baby brother to be taken away by the goblins. However, when her wish is fulfilled, Sarah realizes the importance of maturity and responsibility. Sarah must traverse through a labyrinth to rescue her brother and free herself from immature desires without subscribing to adulthood pessimism and hazardous suitors. The circumstances teach Sarah the importance of being mature and responsible. In the end, she realizes that she must take care of family members. That shows maturity and responsibility.

    What kind of personality does Jareth display on Labyrinth?

    Jareth presents himself as shrewd, gratified, appealing, and devious. Throughout the movie, he displays mixed feelings. At some point, he falls for Sarah and uses dubious means to win her. Jareth promises Sarah so many things if she accepts him. As well, Jareth is portrayed as an impatient person. For instance, when he cracks jokes, he expects everybody to laugh but he changes his mood instantly.
