I Am the Cheese

How would this story be different if Adam had been walking, or on a train, instead of on a bike?

Adam is the main character from I am the Cheese and he rides his bike from his home town on a bike. He went the whole way on his bike but thouhgt about going by foot or on some form of transportation.

Walking would likely have impeded Adam's journey even more. Traveling by train would have placed him in a more stable environment, but it would have limited his interactions and taken away from the plot.
